Why do you want to be a fully professed house of the SPI?
Being a fully professed house gives our organization a validity that being a Mission house just does not have. It affirms our position in a worldwide organization that aligns with our own beliefs.
What is your philosophy?
Our philosophy is “you are important”. Regardless of race, sex, religion, or any reason humans use to divide, everyone is worth of Love.
What kind of sisters are you?
We are bi, gay, trans. We are female, male, non-binary. We are outgoing, shy, confident, insecure. We are sisters of incivility, of tolerance, of empathy. We all have things to learn and to teach and to share. Most of all we are crafty.
What makes you unique?
We have used The Wizard of Oz as part of the overarching theme in for our house (The Emerald City Sisters). The Journey, the dichotomy of moving form a Sepia life into a Technicolor world. We are a house of makers and crafters, we use our talents to engage and interact with our community.
